Monitoring · Evaluation · Learning · Strategy
Independent evaluation and strategy advisory for local government, nonprofits, and social sector organisations working towards real community impact.
About
Connected Impact Advisory is an independent evaluation and strategy consultancy working at the intersection of evidence, learning, and community-centred practice.
"Good evaluation is not the end of the story — it is what makes the next chapter possible."
We work with local government, nonprofits, and social sector organisations to build the kind of evaluative thinking that sticks — not one-off reports that sit on shelves, but embedded learning that shapes decisions.
Our practice draws on systems thinking, participatory methods, and deep experience in place-based approaches. We meet clients where they are, and we work alongside them to develop frameworks, processes, and capabilities that outlast the engagement.
Services
Every engagement is tailored to your organisation's context, capacity, and goals. We work across the full evaluation and strategy spectrum — from design to delivery to capability building.
Rigorous, fit-for-purpose evaluation frameworks designed with your context in mind. From theory of change development through to data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Evidence-informed strategy development that connects your organisation's purpose to practical action. We help you build plans that are grounded in data and shaped by community insight.
Supporting organisations working across complex systems to map, understand, and intervene effectively. Specialist experience in place-based initiatives and community-centred evaluation.
Building evaluative thinking within your team so the learning doesn't leave when the consultant does. Workshops, coaching, and practical tools tailored to your organisation's readiness.
Designing the conditions for continuous learning — from data infrastructure to reflective practice — so your organisation can adapt and improve in real time.
Flexible, senior advisory support for leaders navigating complex decisions. A trusted thinking partner with deep sector knowledge and a commitment to honest, rigorous counsel.
Approach
Our approach is shaped by one belief: that evaluation is most valuable when it is embedded in how an organisation thinks and acts, not bolted on at the end.
We begin by listening. Every engagement starts with a genuine effort to understand your organisation, your community, and the problem you're trying to solve — before we recommend anything.
We work with you, not for you. Evaluation frameworks, learning questions, and data strategies are developed collaboratively so that your team has ownership from the start.
We hold high standards for evidence and analysis. Our work is methodologically sound, clearly communicated, and honest — including when findings are uncomfortable.
Our goal is to leave your organisation stronger. Whether that means building internal capability, designing ongoing learning systems, or simply transferring knowledge — we measure success by what remains.
AI Literacy · For Every Woman · At Every Stage
She Thinks exists so that no woman gets left behind by AI — regardless of her life stage, her role, whether she's in paid work or caring for children or a family member, or whether she's ever thought AI had anything to do with her.
AI is reshaping work, community, and daily life faster than most people realise. But the conversation about it has largely been happening without women — especially women who don't work in tech, who are mid-career or returning to work, who are in community roles, or who simply haven't seen themselves in the AI story yet.
She Thinks changes that. Our resources meet women exactly where they are — no jargon, no assumption of prior knowledge, no irrelevant use cases. Just practical, accessible tools that make AI genuinely useful for real life and real work.
All resources are free to download. New tools added regularly — subscribe to the newsletter to be notified.
An AI literacy toolkit designed for women who haven't used AI before — or haven't seen why they should. Practical, jargon-free, and built around the work and life you're already living.
Download toolkitTakes everything in the toolkit deeper. Seven modules, twenty minutes each — fully self-paced and online. Pick it up whenever you have a spare moment, put it down and come back. No deadlines, no pressure.
Coming soonA facilitation kit for running AI literacy conversations with groups of women in community settings. Designed to spark curiosity, not anxiety.
